Meet Carol
A highly accomplished and fully qualified groomer with a passion for animals and an impressive list of accolades. As a dedicated member of both the IPDGA (International Professional Groomers Association) and the Poodle Club of Ireland, she is deeply committed to promoting excellence in the grooming industry and enhancing the well-being of pets.
Carol’s expertise goes beyond grooming as she is also recognized as a training provider and assessor for the prestigious iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Her exceptional skills extend to cat grooming as well, making her a versatile professional in the field.
In the Republic of Ireland (ROI), Carol stands as the sole approved provider of Level 4 Highers in dog grooming, further solidifying her reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.
But Carol’s contributions don’t stop there. As a devoted advocate for pet safety and well-being, she extends her passion beyond grooming by delivering comprehensive Canine First Aid Courses. Her commitment to educating others ensures that pet owners and fellow groomers are well-prepared to handle emergencies and provide immediate care to dogs in need.
Her love for animals is evident through her personal life, where she showers affection on her five poodles. Among them, four are Irish champions, three have achieved International Champion status, and one is well on the way to earning the same prestigious title and the last one is currently enjoying winning Best Puppy in Show titles.. With her expertise and dedication, Carol is not only a skilled groomer but also a successful participant in the world of dog shows, particularly with medium poodles.
Competing at the prestigious Crufts annually, Carol showcases her skills and expertise on a grand stage, surrounded by top grooming talent from around the world. Her commitment to excellence paid off when she placed an impressive 3rd under the discerning eye of judge Frank Kane, an extraordinary achievement with a young dog that had only participated in its second-ever show.
Carol’s passion for grooming, coupled with her commitment to excellence and extensive accomplishments, make her a respected figure in the grooming community and a beloved advocate for the well-being of animals everywhere.

C & G Qualified
City and Guilds was the only option of qualification back in the day, so I sat them as I’m a huge believer in education. Was really good as I learnt a lot of extra material and facts that have actually been beneficial over the years.
Poodle Club of Ireland
Committee Member
My own pets are poodles and we have worked hard to have Irish and International Champions in our family. I’ve been on the committee for a good few years and thoroughly enjoy all things poodle.
