Professional Pet grooming is a very rewarding skill, when you have been trained well you be much more confident and can enjoy your grooming.
Our grooming courses can be tailored to suit your individual needs whether this is to groom your own dog or start your own professional grooming business. However, we also have a range of set courses to cover varying requirements and experience.
Currently we offer an in house, fully extensive training on all breed grooming, both to breed standard and also pet trims with theory, hygiene, pet care and management plus more included.
We offer a new regulated set of courses which are internationally recognized qualifications, so successful students will be instantly employable or be able to open their own business with confidence and qualifications to prove their new skills, knowledge and training.

Cat Grooming
Cat grooming is a specialized skill and can be dangerous even though it is a basic need and requirement of the cats.
Cats are naturally greasy and do not groom themselves, contrary to common belief, they can only ‘lick themselves’
As cat grooming does pose extra risks it is advised to attend a taster day before signing up to any courses.

Remote teaching is continuing on line. We are currently taking booking for 2021 in Salon Courses, strictly adhering to HSE guidelines and protocols relating to preventing the spread of Covid-19. Government publications include Animal Welfare and Related Services as Essential Services. We have a duty of care to our animal clients within the Animal Welfare Act as Preventative Care; preventing the animals from enduring discomfort from the likes of matting or overgrown nails. We are open for essentials but not on a full capacity basis.
